Borobudur is a Buddhist temple in the Central Java region of Indonesia and it dates back to the eighth and ninth centuries. It is also the world’s largest Buddhist temple. The temple complex has over 504 Buddha statues.

Pictured here is a professional surfer and video maker Gemala Hanafiah, sitting in Borobudur Temple. She creates videos for ‘Wet Traveler from Indonesia’; you can check out her website at Gemala.me.

A big thank you to Wonderful Indonesia and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia for this great opportunity to meet new people and a number of amazing places in Indonesia.
